Your First Appointment: What to Expect
It is important to be well-prepared for your podiatry appointment. This ensures Dr. Schussler and our staff has all the information they need to provide you with the best possible foot care and podiatric treatments. During your appointment, you will discuss your current problems and have your feet, legs, and ankles examined. Your shoes may be examined as well, as they can give your podiatrist clues as to how your feet work and wear.
Facilities and Equipment
We offer our patients state of the art intravenous sedation for relaxed, stress free surgical procedures. These are performed in our office surgical suite by a certified, Registered Nurse Anesthetist with over 30 years experience.

Appointments / Cancellations
We will work with you to answer any questions you have about podiatry, and more importantly, will work with you schedule an appointment that addresses your specific needs and concerns. To schedule an appointment, please contact us at 931-552-3338 or fill out an appointment request.
In the event you need to cancel an appointment, please give us one day's notice so we can allow another patient to see the doctor at that time. We know your time is valuable and understand sometimes it is necessary to cancel appointments. If your appointment is affected by an office emergency, we will notify you.
We accept more insurance plans and will file claims on your behalf. We request that you bring your current insurance cards to your first visit. If your insurance plan changes while you are a patient with us, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update your account.
We verify in advance that your insurance covers your medical service expenses and will notify you if you are not covered. Our insurance billing is handled by an outside billing company. They are located at 1762 Memorial Drive. Their phone is 931-645-1199 and they will be happy to assist you with questions regarding your insurance or statement.
